At Huhtamaki Netherlands, you translate figures into insights that are directly used in the factory. You connect financial data to production processes, so that we can see more quickly where costs are rising and where we can work more efficiently. As Assistant Controller at Huhtamaki Netherlands, you ensure a tight and timely monthly end. You monitor the quality of the figures and know exactly how the result came about. You are the first point of contact for departmental budgets and support budget holders with insight and advice. Together with the Site Controller, you discuss deviations, translate analyses into improvement actions and monitor their progress. You actively switch between finance, production and other departments, so that decisions are substantiated and immediately executable in the workplace. In this role, you combine accuracy with collaboration and ensure that financial information is not only accurate, but also practically applicable to our daily operations.
As Assistant Controller, you are responsible for:
• Processing and controlling financial transactions and preparing clear reports.
• Connecting periodic balance sheet specifications with the correct substantiation.
• Analyzing monthly figures and discussing the results with the Site Controller.
• Preparing and monitoring departmental budgets and monitoring investment projects.
• Setting up, managing and controlling Power BI dashboards and making the right data available to colleagues.
• Providing management information, including KPI reports, that support the MT in decision-making and improvement initiatives.

• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, orally and in writing, to explain complex information to colleagues in an understandable way.

• Experience or interest in creating, managing and visualizing data in dashboards.

• Your salary — based on the weight of the job and your experience — is between €51,000 and €68,000 per year based on 40 hours per week, including 8% vacation allowance and a 13th month;
