Training Coordinator

Production & Operations
Franeker
40 hours
€ 47.000 - € 63.000

In the workplace, you see how important it is that people have the right skills and keep developing. Colleagues who want to take steps, teams that run smoothly and production that benefits when employability is properly organized. As a Training Coordinator, you ensure that everyone is ready for the next step: in their position and in production. You see it when someone can take on more responsibility or when a team can be deployed more widely and the schedule is better suited. Ultimately, you work on two things at the same time: making people grow and making production run better. This also means that you continuously contribute to the daily planning: which people can be deployed where and how training and training activities match what production needs. That is concrete, visible and exactly why this function has an impact.

Apply for this position

Well-trained and versatile operators are essential for our production. You ensure that this is properly arranged. As a Training Coordinator, you organize all courses and keep the skill matrix sharp. In doing so, you work closely with the Trainer and team leaders. This directly influences how safe, efficient and forward-looking we produce. You don't train yourself, but you make sure the process is correct. In doing so, you always take into account the current production schedule: you plan at the right time and see in time where changes affect the occupancy. You plan, make agreements and coordinate internal and external training courses. You are visible on the floor and the point of contact for colleagues who want to develop.

About the position

In this role, you ensure that employees can work safely, are widely employable and continue to develop. Employees can come to you with questions about their development. In addition to the training programs, you look ahead every day, adjust when staffing changes and ensure that training and training activities are well suited to production planning. You work closely with the Trainer, team leaders, HR and external trainers. You keep an overview, monitor the progress of courses and ensure that the training policy remains up to date. You switch quickly, communicate clearly and keep the entire training process well organized.

Your activities:

• Plan and follow training courses so that employees have the right skills at the right time, and keep the skill matrix up to date.

• You are responsible for the daily coordination of production planning, looking ahead, adjusting when occupancy changes and ensuring that training and training activities meet line needs.

• Collaborate intensively with the Trainer, team leaders, HR and external trainers (such as BHV, VCA and forklift).

• Be the point of contact for employees with questions about development, schedules and deployment, and ensure clear communication on the floor. You also answer questions about schedules, deployment and planned courses.

• Handle training policy, guidelines and administrative tasks (such as grant applications and invoices) properly and up to date.

• Coordinate with the in-house employment agency about deployment, availability and shifts in the teams.

• Contributing to a safe, positive and well-organized work environment.
