As an Operator at Huhtamaki, you play a crucial role in this process. You operate and monitor the machines, carry out quality controls, resolve faults and contribute to a safe working environment. And there is a good chance that the egg box you have at home was made in Franeker, near Huhtamaki. This and all other products that Huhtamaki makes are made of waste paper. From the meal packaging in the supermarket to the coffee shop at the fast food chain, you can find Huhtamaki's sustainable products everywhere. How cool it is to be part of this process!
As an operator at Huhtamaki, you ensure that the machines for the products run smoothly. This is also the case today: You are quality checking a machine and you discover a problem. You know better than anyone how to find out the cause. So you found out not much later: a broken sensor. You know how to solve the problem quickly, after which the machine and the process can continue. You are proud of your work as an operator; your work contributes to a better world and your colleagues share the same passion for sustainability.
• You operate and monitor the production machines for, among other things, egg cartons and other packaging;
• You carry out quality controls to ensure the quality of the products;
• You solve technical faults and maintain machines and installations;

• You have at least an MBO Process/Mechanical Operator diploma and/or have proven experience as a process/mechanical operator;
• You work accurately and have an eye for detail;
• You are a real team player;
• You are flexible and can work well in 5 shifts;
• You are resistant to stress and are good at dealing with unexpected situations.

• Your salary — based on the weight of the job and your experience — is between €47,500 and €55,600 per year based on 33.6 hours per week, including shift allowance, 8% vacation allowance and a 13th month;
