Franeker

€ 88.500 - € 118.000

Build trust, safety and quality in a dynamic production environment

What a development you have experienced in your first year at Huhtamaki Netherlands. What used to be separate initiatives has now been given direction. Together, you have built a culture where safety and quality are not just words on paper, but visible and tangible in the workplace. Colleagues know where they stand, signals are taken seriously and action is taken. Quality policy lives in the organization, and instead of feeling, you now focus on insight, data and clear frameworks. Leadership took shape in cooperation: you set the course, provided structure and created space for development. And audits? You will face them with confidence. The basis is: sturdy enough to build on, flexible enough to keep improving.

Apply for this position

As a QHSE Manager at Huhtamaki in Franeker, you are a strategic leader who takes safety, quality, health and the environment to a higher level, but you do much more than just improve processes. You translate strategic guidelines into concrete goals in the workplace, inspire your team with a clear course and ensure that compliance does not feel like an obligation, but a natural part of how we work. In this role, you get the space and responsibility to structure how we deal with quality, safety and improvement. You provide an overview of complex processes, steer your team towards joint results and have an eye for the long term: where do we want to be as an organization, and what does this require?

• You ensure a strong connection between policy and practice, translating QHSE themes into clear agreements, behavior and continuous improvement in operations.

• You safeguard and improve quality systems by focusing on data, KPIs and clearly measurable standards.

• You set up a solid process around customer complaints and develop preventive improvement strategies that prevent recurrence.

• You lead audits with conviction and ensure that certifications such as ISO and BRC are sustainably secured.

• You direct your team on content and development; you provide frameworks, set priorities and act as a sounding board, with an eye for the person behind the role and space for growth, initiative and mutual involvement.

• You are responsible for the local implementation of the WCO Safety master plan and actively contribute to the further development of our safety structure.

• You initiate improvement projects, submit investment proposals and contribute ideas about structural optimization of processes and working methods.

Where will you work?
